MARYLHURST | BUS BENCH

Objective

Make prospective students aware of a new Marylhurst campus in the area.

Solution

We turned one of the notoriously uninspired advertising mediums — bus benches — into interactive experiences. By physically attaching school desks to the benches, we inspired onlookers to not just recognize a college campus being close in proximity, but also a college degree within reach. What’s more, prospective students could sit at the desk while waiting for the bus, further cementing the idea.

Outcome

The concept was awarded placement in the Communication Arts Advertising Annual, a highly esteemed and coveted recognition in the advertising industry.
